Letter regarding Christmas Jumper Day

Letter to parents carers Christmas Jumper Day

3rd December 2020

Dear Parent/Carer,

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY

On Friday 11th December, Astrea Academy Woodfields will be supporting Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day by encouraging our staff and students to wear a Christmas Jumper in place of their usual academy blazer.

Students are asked to make a voluntary donation of £1 or whatever they can afford with all funds supporting Save the Children’s work in helping children build a better future.

In the lead up to Friday 11th December, students will benefit from an assembly highlighting the work of Save the Children and the success stories that have come about through previous donations. The assembly presentation will also be uploaded to Frog Learning so those students not currently in the academy will be able to benefit from the information.

We hope that as many of our students as possible get involved in Christmas Jumper Day and also encourage those who won’t be able attend the academy on the day to send in their best Christmas Jumper pictures to office@astreawoodfields.org where these may also be uploaded to and celebrated on the academy’s Twitter feed @AAWoodfields.

Thank you for your ongoing support to the academy.

Yours sincerely,

Adam Atkinson

Principal
