What is a Line-Up?
A line-up is a quick way to get the community together and prepare them for learning. Scholars find their class and stand in a straight line in front of their teacher. The teacher can then check uniform and equipment while a member of the senior team celebrates the successes of the scholars and refocuses them for learning. Classes then move in silent, single-file lines to their lessons without any time being wasted.
In the morning, the whole school listens to an assembly by the Principal. This allows direct communication with all staff and scholars and ensures that everyone is on the same page. We celebrate Feel-Good Friday, and regularly ‘Shout-Out’ star performers and proud moments from the week. This warm, welcoming and friendly approach build community, instils a sense of duty and promotes scholarship.
